And yet itinerancy, life in caravans and the presence of the camp on the big top site, mean something. We defend it as a particular lifestyle and work method – practical, aesthetic and ethical.

Thus, with our next production – Le bal des intouchables – in mind, we are working towards reducing the cost of our technical installations and increasing our independence by investing as well as inventing and developing new solutions espousing the notion of ”sustainable development”.

However, we focus not only on the show itself, but on the living space which encompasses the big tops and the camp and takes root at the heart of the city. This contributes to our dialogue with the public by acting on their perception as soon as they enter the site.

The presence of the reception marquee enables us to create a convivial area housing catering facilities, exhibitions, light programmes and encounters. We intend to materialise this encounter by means of a “collaborative” project founded on a sensory link with a group of inhabitants from the city who welcome us at the crossroads of the cultural, the artistic and the social. The idea is to highlight the sensory and individual experience and to use it as a vector of the encounter. The project intends to highlight the living space of this group of inhabitants, both the private and collective space, real or fantasised, pregnant with meaning and daily stories.

We also hope that our partners would be interested in sharing this convival area whith different kind of their own.
